One of the brightest stars of today’s European music scene, Imany, will perform her first-ever concert in Chișinău on October 21.
Her albums have earned platinum and multi-platinum certifications, while songs such as Don’t Be So Shy, You Will Never Know, Wonderful Life, Silver Lining (Clap Your Hands), and The Good, The Bad & The Crazy have become international hits, winning the hearts of millions of listeners around the world.
Her artistic journey was shaped at the crossroads of different cultures — from the world of fashion in New York to the vibrant music scene of Paris, where her unique musical identity was born.
Today, Imany possesses one of the most recognizable voices in contemporary music. Her deep and soulful timbre, seamlessly blending soul, blues, folk, and jazz, is instantly unmistakable. A particularly remarkable chapter in her career is the unique Voodoo Cello project, in which Imany’s voice was accompanied by an ensemble of eight cellos. The project achieved outstanding international success and evolved into a worldwide tour featuring more than one hundred performances.
